Jenna Hepburn, BSc

MSc Student

Department of Community Health and Epidemiology
Faculty of Medicine

Dalhousie University

Jenna is currently a Master of Science student in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Dutton. She is interested in social epidemiology and poverty research, and is committed to making a positive impact on vulnerable populations with her research. For her thesis, Jenna is exploring patterns of emergency department use for people experiencing homelessness in New Brunswick, and how increasing rental prices impact may impact these patterns. 

Jenna is originally from Port Williams, Nova Scotia, but has also lived in Trinidad and Tobago, and Winnipeg, Manitoba. She graduated with her Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Manitoba in 2022. 

 

Outside of academics, Jenna can be found exploring Halifax with her chihuahua, Toby. She enjoys spending time outside whether it be at the beach, hiking, or soaking up the sun on a patio.
